Red Emperor
70cm & about 6kg. Flesh is firm and flaky with a delicate
texture & excellent to eat.
Eastern King Prawn
To 30cm body length and average commercial weight is about
50g. Flesh is highly regarded.
Black Tiger Prawn
One of the largest prawns in Australian waters, usually
harvested at 10-13cm. Firm flesh with a sweet flavour.
Endeavour Prawn
Commonly around 7-14cm, and average weight is about 30g.
Stronger flavour than most other prawns.
Red Spot King Prawn
Commonly 10-15cm in body length. Very popular, exported and
consumed locally.
Brown Tiger Prawn
Commonly 11-20cm body length. Flesh has a delicate, sweet
flavour.
